Is it ethical for AR activists to do ketamines??

This question has been bugging me for a while, cos we all know how much it helps the struggle of the guinea pigs if you do ketamines in a squat in North London.

So I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I think Alan was referring to the fact that these drugs have been tested on animals or are used on animals by humans. I sometimes feel a bit guilty when i do pills, for half an hour or so.....

Ketamine used to be used for human medicine anyway. You can still buy it in pharmacies in some countries.

For plenty (most probably) of people ket is a night in thing not a night out thing. Also, how people look on drugs isn't necessarily how they feel.

what is it with inconsistent animal rights people? for example they dont see the hypocrisy of using the metric system when it is plain to see that when the metric system was designed to replace the imperial system, animal testing had to be done on an unprecedented scale, to make sure it was workable.

People don't take it cos its just a tranquiliser. Its a tranquiliser (anaesthetic actually) AND its a hallucinogen.

Sleepings pills and ritalin are not hallucinogens. Dunno where you got your understanding of drugs from.

Im not saying Kets a good thing just you dont know much about it. Its a lot more than not being able to move (doesnt have to paralyse you anyway).
