Our Nestor was considered to be very lucky by those around him, as if he led a charmed life, and even though he was in the thick of things, never got himself killed in action. Poor Buenaventura on the other hand wasn't so fortunate.

Anyway, Durruti met Makhno in Paris and they never came to fisticuffs, not even a little pillow fight between comrades. Course Makhno was well past his prime then and was ill (actually dying) so obviously had they come to blows, Durruti, who was in his prime, should have easily won.

i'd say makhno as he survived three years of intense war, whereas duritti's golden years were more about bank jobs and assassinations, so it's possible that the plucky ukranian might have the greater stamina.
