Who would win in a fight Durruti or Makhno?
What sort of fight? Jelly wrestling, boxing, ultimate fighting, swords, pistols, cart-mounted machine guns or the Durruti Column vs the Makhnovschina?
I'm saying Makhno cos he never betrayed his revolutionary past and the insurgent proletariat like Durruti tragically did.

Dude, you can't just throw shit like that out there and just slink off. Durruti lived and died for Libertarian Communism, for the people of Spain.

you do know Durruti wanted to steal the gold reserves, and move against the government, only so other wee cunt ran and touted to the secretariat.

Revol, Oliver, Dev, I have responses to the thread from earlier on the What unknown poster would you like to Meet' thread, something got fucked up, I was 'banned' or something. I think just from the LR 'Meta" thread.
Yes, I don't know if this...person... is really just trying to lump BuenaVentura in with the CNT sellouts or what, but it has sure pissed me off.'

Our Nestor was considered to be very lucky by those around him, as if he led a charmed life, and even though he was in the thick of things, never got himself killed in action. Poor Buenaventura on the other hand wasn't so fortunate.
Anyway, Durruti met Makhno in Paris and they never came to fisticuffs, not even a little pillow fight between comrades. Course Makhno was well past his prime then and was ill (actually dying) so obviously had they come to blows, Durruti, who was in his prime, should have easily won.

I realise he was more radical than the CNT bureaucrats but he did make a colossal mistake in leading his column off to the front leaving the state to recohere in the rear.

Who's it to be, people of Spain (all of them including bosses, bishops and generals?) or workers of the world?

i'd say makhno as he survived three years of intense war, whereas duritti's golden years were more about bank jobs and assassinations, so it's possible that the plucky ukranian might have the greater stamina.

Yeah I reckon as he was such a short-arse he'd be much more likely to be more vicious.
