Surely a much better question than whether you went to uni or not: did you get expelled or kicked out from school or whatnot??

Not that i wish to toot my own horn but, well you know Mr. T , I did. A week before the end of 6th form Mr. T, for "heading a campaign of damage and destuction" oh yes! Im cool Mr. T im cool Mr. T

On the very last day of secondary school i got suspended for wrapping my fench teacher's 2CV in cling film. Before that i had got suspended for setting fire to furniture.

i left school at 16 as i needed to get a job to earn some money to live, apologies if that's a bit dull, but that's life

what's sixth form anyway, and is getting expelled a week before the end of it a real badge of honour confused

a: You've mentioned 6th forms before, so I'm guessing you know that in some schools the A Level bit of it (16-18) is called 6th form.

b: This thread's clearly very much tongue-in-cheek

c: I was very well-behaved at school. Apart from when it came to doing any homework, or not talking in class, but I was hardly James Dean wink

a) no idea, not all regions of the united kingdom run with the same education system, i've never had anything to do with A-levels, so i'm sorry if i'm not genned up on what "form" people sit them in

b) shouldn't it be binnned then, it might hinder progress towards libertarian communism otherwise (that was tongue in cheek by the way, or is that not allowed)

c) so was i

Alright sorry no need to get defensive, I figured cos you'd mentioned them before you knew...

Never expelled, but a near-thing with a truancy officer (as they used to be called). Also on "conduct report" a fair few times, which was a sheet you had to take to lessons 1) to make sure you showed up & 2) that the teacher filled in/signed to say you hadn't pissed about. You were supposed to get it signed at home, too, but I was shit-hot at my mum's signature wink .

The reason for being on conduct report was written at the top, and you had to write it in yourself. Unfortunately, putting "Conspiracy to cause explosions" got me another week of it. sad

My mate Sean (who went on to become a tank driver) got expelled for super-gluing a rubber duck to the bonnet of the headteacher's BMW grin

Same as. I got suspended a couple of times, almost got expelled, my mum had to come into school, an plead my case on her behalf. wink

It makes me angry thinking about it now, let it go... ("there's no place like home" currently clicking my cherry red's together).

I'm far too lazy to be bothered to behave bad enough to get kicked out. I've been threatened with it a few times at college, but they threaten everyone and their dog so I don't feel that punk rock.

Got not being expelled down to a fine art, myself. 'No mister headmaster I really AM sorry, it's the ADHD sir, of course I wouldn't normally take the main fusebox out for the building on my way to see the headmaster for telling my RE teacher he's an idiot'.

Worked a treat, saved my ass at least six times (downside being the ritalin, shudders)...

Edit: I did have ADHD, but that wasn't why I took the fuse out.

I was the one the teachers all knew they should hate, but they just couldn't. I'm pretty much a teachers' pet embarrassed

um nearly. should of been. was took into the headmasters office and told if i didn't stop truanting bad things would happen. i kept up the three day week in solidarity with the strike (the one where all the rubbish piled up in the streets and all the lights went out) and i just hated high school and they still didn't expel me... anyway, they just ignored me eventually and so eventually i left without ever having been there for most of the fifth year (the yr b4 6th form.. .they count school yrs different now) i got school reports saying i was at classes when i hadn't been all year which was funny.

i was in cse grade at school which in my day was the thickies so it was kind of sweet when i finally went back to education when i was 36 and got a first at man uni. fuck that you high school of art bastards who said i was shit. ha twisted

I was expelled from school half way through my last exam but not cos I led some right on radical uprising or whatever. I was expelled cos had a mohican.

It wasn't really deliberately planned like that, I'd been at an eighteenth birthday party a couple of nights before & some wanker 40 year old bouncer mate of my mates ma & da shaved half my head when I passed out. Another mate of mine lost his eyebrows.

A mohican seemed like the only option - and yeah I wanted one anyway.

Remember though - that was in the eighties. Even though I've got one again now.

They would've done if I hadnt left before they could. They informed me that I was on the "Top Ten Naughty List" (sic), worst thing to tell a 14 year old ever, i felt like a celebrity.

ah right, yer respect is based on haircuts - seem to remember you'd something pretty odd going on with your hair cut last time I saw you. So I should now of course decide not to have any respect for any organisation or project yer involved in???

and of course Organise! is politically dependent on what I do with my hair confused

But if you think I'm a twat or an eejit or whatever for getting that haircut just say so smile

God you lot are a disappointing bunch of wimps, suspended for dyed hair and the worst attendence record in the 5th year also, by the way wankers 6th form don't count. in fact we probly need a tread for getting sacked!

I thought everyboby sat around listening to Millions of Dead Cops and Oi Polloi, i feel like a sell out when i put on GG Allen or Hawkwind! Then i find out your all listens to Billy Piper, your worse than the bods in the trendy clubs, at least the've got the excuse of lack off consciouness.

Hair has everying to do wth it, comrades. I thought that was the great divide between CW and AF. Paul Marsh was ordered to get rid off his proud goaty as a compramise he was aload to have buggers grips. I have specially daft hair , but thats to make up for mr Marsh and pickmans model, politically and so they can get into to seady night clubs.

Of course, her rendition of 'Rich girl' was plainly an ironic attack on materialism, which is why I obsessively hummed it for about a week afterwards, much to the confusion of all my aquaintances.

The worst trouble me and my friends got into was the time we made our own chat program for talking to each other across the school network when we were bored in class. No explusions though.

Volin

I never got expelled, they only interrogated me with psychologists. And monitored me. And everyday I'd have a special "time-out" class.

All for writing about anarchism in my exams roll eyes
