 Public transport was disrupted yesterday as bus drivers employed by Connexxion went on unofficial strike on 19 routes in the Amsterdam-Zaandam region. dutchnews.nl reported that a spokeswoman for the bus company told ANP this afternoon that the action had been called just before the weekend and that she could not say how long it would last. The drivers are unhappy with the bus timetables which were changed when new train schedules were introduced in December. | |
