I said that I couldn't work and now have to talk to the manager on Saturday to discuss "matters". If they say i have to work on Sunday what should I do? refuse and get sacked, compromise my religion for a facist symbol of capitalism or force them to reschedule my shift and take them to court if they try to sack me. This is my first job so I do not know what to do or what I can do. I currently work for McDonalds and need help on an issue. I'm not contracted to work on Sunday mornings but have been put down to work this sunday, Easter Sunday, from 8am. I said that I couldn't work and now have to talk to the manager on Saturday to discuss "matters".

If they say i have to work on Sunday what should I do? refuse and get sacked, compromise my religion for a facist symbol of capitalism or force them to reschedule my shift and take them to court if they try to sack me.

This is my first job so I do not know what to do or what I can do.
