I met Guy Bourgeois at 2 conferences of the Union des Travailleurs Communistes Libertaires in the 1980s in France, where he and others came as observers from the Tribune Anarchiste Communiste. This veteran militant passed away in September 2004.

André ‘Dede’ Nedelec died on 15th October 2000 just before his 75th birthday, after long years of suffering from a crippling illness. Up to the end he maintained a lively intellect and a continuing interest in the libertarian movement.
Durou, Gilles, 1954-2003
A short biography of French libertarian communist Gilles Durou.
Gilles became active in the libertarian movement in the 1970s. He joined the Groupe Sebastien Faure (part of the Federation Anarchiste) in Bordeaux. In the early 80s he left the FA with other groups, notably the Groupe Emma Goldman of Paris.
Henry, Emile, 1872-1894

Not many people have heard of Emile Henry, which is surprising really.
He was born in 1872 in Spain, the son of an exiled Paris Communard. He returned to Paris with his family, and became a student at the Prestigious Ecole Polytechnique. However, he chose to abandon his studies in favour of "propaganda by deed".
