Sacked traffic wardens continue protest in Belfast
Protests continued today for former Belfast traffic wardens after 26 were sacked in April for taking part in unofficial strike action.
Around 30 people were present at today's protest, made up of the sacked workers, supporters from Organise! and representatives from the union representing the workers, the Northern Ireland Public Service Alliance (Nipsa). The protests are now a daily occurrence on May Street in Belfast, where the offices of the employer National Car Parks (NCP) are located.

France: Rail, gas and electricity workers prepare to strike
Workers have decided to build on last month's one-day strike and have called for strike action on Wednesday.
Although EDF (Électricité de France) and GDF (Gaz de France) workers have only given official notice of a one-day strike, during the last strikes wildcats and general assemblies meant that the strike largely held the following day.
Mali: Strike by university workers
Workers at the National centre for university works (CENOU) went on strike today after management "completely ignored" their demands.
Workers launched a 72 hour stoppage on Tuesday morning, this strike follows a 48 hour stoppage two weeks ago which failed to bring management to the negotiation table. The CENOU is responsible for University transport, lodgings, food, bursaries and sanitation.
