Hands Off the People of Iran will debate Campaign Iran at the Convention of the Left

The debate will take place on the 24th September at 3.30pm at the Friends Meeting House

It is free and everyone is welcome to attend.

Are there any socialists who live in or around Hartlepool who might be interested in meeting up and discuss socialist politics and try to get some activity going?

I've posted a couple of items on the Public Sector Pay Disputes (on the organise thread) looking for feedback on disputes in Leeds, Bury and anywhere else on the fallout from the Local council 'single status' deal agreed with the unions.

Anyone in the north got more info?

I have posted on the main 'Organise' Forum about the two day strike last week in Manchester but wondered if any others in the North West were around/actyive during this. My experiences were not that good and I think we need to be better prepared next time?
