About me

I've been politically active for about six years now and have considered myself an anarchist for about four. Unfortunately, I'm from the part of the US South where calling yourself a liberal can often be a danger to your health. It shouldn't be surprising, then, that I've never actually worked with any anarchists other than the group of (four) friends I've had that developed our politics together. Most of my organizing experience has been in large umbrella groups such as Amnesty International or local neighborhood associations where I've tried to spread my politics by example.

I just finished college and am trying to find a job in NYC. I really look forward to being able to finally work with several explicitly anarchist organizations. I've been researching all of the groups with a presence there, but don't really know how to approach it yet. I suppose I'll just have to show up and see when I get there.

By the way, feel free to PM me if anyone has advice on where to look for cheap apartments in NYC.
