AF poster/leaflet on the economic crisis

Is the state really the biggest boss, or is it that faceless social relation, capital?

Also the capitalist class do not control the economy per se as a crisis makes clear.

Inaccurate to say workers sell there time also....

Final sentence spot on!

I agree with this, the original draft actually said "collective capitalist".

The problem is the text is meant to be oriented towards an audience unfamiliar with radical politics or even many economic categories. Unfortunate as it may be, many people won't understand what you mean when you say "faceless social relation - capital".

So the task is to put the concepts we are familiar with in plain language, something I'm not very good at. The poster was a collectively drafted attempt to convey the contradiction between human needs and desires and capital, and counterpose the prospect of real human community (communism) as an alternative.

This is understood in that wage labour is the sale of labour time as commodity, the root of alienation.
