Looks like they had fun in Glasgow and London. Or not as the case may be...

well i got back from going out at 8am, so i slept until 8pm. apart from waking up for an our at 2 to watch the simpsons. then i saw rocky, which was awesome. although it meant i missed the chance to get sunburnt with a load of syndicalists, nevermind.

leipzig looked a bit full on from the telly though...

I dunno why they bother with Mayday in London. I really honestly don't.

Interestingly enough, I travelled through Hackney on a coach today and didn't notice anything at all, gladly. I would have hated to have been delayed getting to my hardcore show by the hippies.

Glasgow was bizarre, we still have one comrade in the nick. I think they decided to practise their snatch squads and crowd control for the G8 /

Well two in Glasgow have been released, at least one of those is facing charges on Tuesday (in the sheriff court, support very very welcome in the morning and early afternoon), the person who is still in jail (my best friend) is in until her hearing on Tuesday. Apparently it's something to do with the "severity of the charges", but by all accounts I've heard she was snatched then de-arrested, ran, then got the shit kicked out of her, four cops versus one teenage woman lying on the ground. So beyond resisting arrest it's hard to see what the charges might be, we're worried that they might have a go at assaulting a police officer or some other fabricated nonsense.

Apparently some people managed to photograph the incident so fingers crossed it'll be ok.

How did the hearings go?

saw the show in trafalgar sq which was dull so went and watched the cricket game. Not exactly the most exciting MayDay ever but WTF, it gave me a chance to see London and the weekend as a whole was excellent.

I think it's two of them charged with breach and resisting, I'd have to check up to be sure.
