She's fucked if she's found guilty, I've been told* that assault of a PC now has a mandatory custodial sentence. And they'll probably want to make an example of her. Shame if that happens, i reckon she's alright for a pop star.

Hi

Bow Street Magistrates' Court on Friday.

We've been in the same dock, on the same charge! I've got something in common with her. It's like when I slept in the same bed as Alice Nutter, not at the same time though. She'll get let off, I can't imagine they'll send her down. Pete Dougherty comes to mind, is she managed by Alan McGee? Sounds like the sort of stunt he’d pull.

Hi

I am getting very annoyed with our news services. The thing that winds me up more than anything is when they start a story and don’t follow it up. Did anyone notice how they reported how the NY transport workers strike kicked off, but didn’t bother letting us now how it ended? (Professional negotiators cut a deal).

Now, how about this…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/merseyside/4514062.stm

What happened? Where’s the follow up? Is it the deliberate manipulation of public opinion or simple ineptitude? Someone help me, please.

Thats gotta be the best kind of language to use when tryin to defend yourself against a rape charge roll eyes roll eyes

LR - its just ineptitude.

Hi

I'm very impressed with your help, Jef. But I can't say I'm too happy with the verdict. I've sat on a Jury, and it's hard work getting them to side with junkies over coppers, regardless of evidence. Not impossible though, a question of stamina rather than reason.

I'm hardly surprised that they weren't convicted.

I reckon trying to get some people to go against the police regardless of evidence would be difficult, and it this case it seems quite obvious that they did it.

Hi

Well they failed to reach a verdict on the other copper. I wonder how Ms Dynamite did, was it yesterday? There's no Jury in a Magistrates' Court, and they can only hand out short custodial sentences. Bit of community service will do her good.

Yes she used to be a role model for black youth ever since that really crappy song.

Well in October she went to a police station and confessed to assault, and they didn't proceed with it. (there's a link to it on the BBC page.)

Hi

No doubt. They'll have her helping young rappers say "no" to guns and drugs in a little community studio in Bethnal Green. Business as usual.

maybe the kids stopped respecting her, so she needed to show a little fight against the man to get the respect to continue being a part of the system.

Like I said, business is usual. Honestly, I've got LibCom Tourettes myself now. Must stop posting.

Oh no, it's a new page as well. That's really embarrassing.
