US OK's nuke attack on Iran

If what conspiracy theory people say is true about 9/11, being that Bush organised it.

US Government has Contingency Plan to Use Nuclear Weapons Against Iran

The United States Strategic Command (STRATCOM) has been ordered by Vice President Dick Cheney, through the Pentagon, to hit Iran with conventional and tactical nuclear weapons should another 9/11-type attack take place.

Iran has more than 450 major strategic targets, including possible nuclear facilities, many of which are underground or hardened installations and would therefore be safe from conventional weapons.

The attack plan is not conditional on Iran being linked to a terrorist attack and it is reported that several senior Air Force officers involved in the plans are deeply unhappy at the prospect of Iran being the victim of an unprovoked attack.

A source for this story would be nice!

Did a Google News search: the only sources for this story appear to be related to Lyndon LaRouche and his various fronts. (Not exactly a person I would consider a reliable source.)

It wouldn't surprise me if the story is true, but I would appreciate it if you could find me an independent source.

Thanks.

The story on that site is reproduced from The American Conservative, Buchanan and Taki's magazine. The article is written by a guy called Philip Giraldi, apparently an ex-CIA officer. This appears to be the (slightly more credible) source on which the LaRouche articles are based.

Still haven't found any mention in the world's mainstream news media.
