forums - latest

Hi

any chance making the "latest" bit of the menu stay put once you have arrived at "forums". Every time I try to navigate to latest it disappears.

I think it's designed to work with a 1px border, which I removed. So that 1px is sometimes exposed.

We know it's a bit at the moment, but we will be working on it.

ooh, I see now. that's better.

Did you see the news/regions/sectors stuff I did in right menu?

Should we try moving it to the top?

the browse menu? I think it should stay in that bar. looks nice tho!

keep main sections only at the top.

I want the user menu in the top (apart from admin menu), but not sure how to do that

admin >> menu

then you need a parent menu item in the header bar - probably say "profile", or "profile/login" linking to /user?

Then edit all the menu items, and take them from navigation to under the new menu item. And that should be it.

If we did that, we could kill the login box - since clicking on "profile/login" would take you to the login page.

Cool - will leave browse menu where it is. Will try to do history one at some point (regions/latest/bios/chronological list etc.) or someone else can, it's pretty easy, if really boring.

I think i'd like to put the search box under browse.

Then replace that space for the profile menu.

Kill the login box as you say from the menu. But it would be cool to have it show up instead of profile menu in the header bar if you arent logged in

just real simple and small:

u: ---- p: ---- [signup] [forgot password]

Oh I see, put it at the top of the sidebar, not an entry in the header.

Search box is just html directly in page.tpl.php - easy to take that out and stick it in a block.

login stuff sounds cool - we can probably take the existing block and theme it.
