Trouble logging in with firefox

For some reason, when I try to log in with Firefox, the site just takes me to my profile but leaves me logged out. Seems to work fine with IE though. I'm using Vista, if that helps.

yeah it's stange, tried for half an hour in firefox and chromium without success, but it worked the first time in Konqueror (which I hardly ever use). Perhaps not browser related though.

perhaps something to do with cookies/saved sessions/passwords and the change to users paths?

Possibly, clearing cache and cookies hasn't helped any though.

I had the same problem with Chrome, but could log in with Firefox just fine.

This may be fixed now - I had the same problem in chrome, made some changes, cleared cookies, logged in, and it was working. Please clear libcom cookies and try again.

I had the same problem with firefox in vista. After clearing cookies, it still wouldn't log in on the initial attempt, but the did on the second.

Hmm, I managed to reproduce again with firefox despite the fix. For now I've switched to another session backend - if you have trouble even after this, please let me know.

Hmm, switching the session backend isn't helping, so tomorrow morning I'll switch back to the usual cache backend again (which will log everyone out unfortunately), then have more of a sniff around to see what's happening.

Didn't work for me. I cleared FF cookies twice and still can't log in. Also, it's barely working on IE; took me about 3 minutes to load this page (browsing the forum on FF [unlogged] works proper fast so it's definitely not my internet connection).

I have the same problem with Chrome with my computer/user at work/uni. I can log in fine with FF and IE, but not Chrome. I've tried to clear cookies but didn't work.

you can delete all cookies or do them one by one.

Bear in mind that if you delete all cookies you will lose your high scores on shitty flash games smile

go to preferences> privacy and click remove individual cookies and type libcom into the search thing, then delete them all

doesn't flash store its cookies separately? i think advertisers use this to keep track of people

Can't log in in Firefox. Clearing cache and cookies doesn't seem to work. Can log in in Safari.

Slow logins over the past day or so would likely be because I switched back to standard (slow but reliable) session handling for a while. However as that's not fixed it I've switched back over to the new one. This logged me out and I was able to get in again without any cookie magic in chrome, worst case it'll only be as bad as it had been since that didn't fix anything at all.

I'll try to reproduce this issue again and see if I can figure out what the problem is, sorry about this folks.

Had the same problem last night with Safari. Cleared cookies and it worked fine. However, now its back and clearing cookies hasn't worked. Same for Firefox, Chrome, Omniweb, and Opera. No problems with Camino so far.
