Back button (was 'MERDE')

I hate this new software. god fucking damnit. Just accidentally backed-up (pressed backspace while not focussed in the text window) while writing a lengthy new topic starter, went forward again (used to phpbb) and found an empty page.

BAH.

You might get my second run at it later tonight. I'll be writing in notepad from now on.

Hmm not sure how it works. I guess it is to do with page cacheing

bollocks!1!!!

i just lost a cpe blog post i'd spent ages formatting by pressing backspace, fuck fuck.

is there any way we can fix this?

wordpress - the old blog software - shows you a warning and makes you click OK to navigate away from page saying you might lose changes. could we install something here? (or just stop the auto-refresh every page...)

ok had a quick look but cant really do much cos im at your house (john.) and your keyboard sucks. for later ref, this is how to make the page refresh on pushing back button:

RESPONSE.setHeader("Cache-Control", "no-store, no-cache");
RESPONSE.setHeader("Pragma", "no-cache");
RESPONSE.setDateHeader("max-age", 0);
RESPONSE.setDateHeader("Expires", 0);
