Request content posting rights here

To prevent spam attacks which have plagued the site new users will have to be manually approved by an administrator to post forum threads or news, library, history etc articles.

If you would like to post an article, please ask in the comments below, send us an e-mail to libcom.org at gmail.com or send a private message to some libcom admins.

To get the quickest response please just put a quick post below and say what kind of content you want to post. E.g.:

Hi, I would like to post a news article about a strike

If you wish to a blog on libcom.org/blog then this also needs to be approved manually.

If you would like a blog here, please request it in the comments below, explaining what you would like to blog about. Alternately e-mail us or send some admins a private message as above.

Thanks!

I'd like to ask (again) if there is any way I can be granted whatever rights or permissions are necessary for me to edit my own articles. It's kind of bizarre how I can submit whatever I want to the Libcom library, but when I want to fix, say, a single closing tag, the changes need to go through moderation first. I know from reading the content guidelines that this is a feature, not a bug, but it still seems like such a waste of time on both my part and the admins'.

Not sure I understand. When editing my own article, I only see two buttons: Save and Preview. When I click Save, the following notice appears:

Your changes have been submitted for moderation.
Library [article title] has been updated.

Note that "has been updated" does not mean that the changes I made show up in the published version of the article. If I then return to the same article sometime later, I get this message:

Editing your latest revision, which is still pending moderation.

Please let me know if I'm missing something obvious.

For me there's a revision button at the top of every article. After you make a change to an article, you click there and 'revert' to the change you made. See any of that?

I would like to post an article about a new syndicalist union in Bulgaria:

New Syndicalist Union in Bulgaria

Over the weekend 18-19, at a meeting in Varna attended by ex-members of the ARS (Autonomous Workers Syndicate) from both Varna, and across the country, as well as workers from public transport, the shipping sector, the local art gallery, and an international observer from the Swedish anarchosyndicalist union SAC, a new revolutionary syndicalist Union, Автономна работническа конфедерация (Autonomous Workers Confederation ARK) was constituted in Bulgaria.

Details in Bulgarian can be found in a report from the mainstream press here:

If you want an actual blog here, you'd have to contact the admins on [email protected] and give them some writings or an idea of what you will write. If you just have one article, it may make more sense to either try to post it to the library or first a forum post that can then be turned into a blog or library article. You don't need any extra permissions to posts in the forums.

I used to write and work with the leninist WSWS / ICFI (have been traumatised with the bureaucratic attitude and control over articles) before my political views changed which is more aligned with Council Communism currently, so I need an online network like libcom to spread my views and continue my work uninterrupted admist the global pandemic and the ongoing socia-economic disasters all around the world.

Hello,

I've been trying to get my password updated, without success, so I had to re-register using a different email account. I've posted here before as danny la rouge and pilchardman, but not in a very long time.

Can I have posting rights please? I promise I'm a real person and not a bot.

Cheers.

I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING???

The link https://libcom.org/library/worst-product-fascism-it-s-antifascism was not working for days like if the text had been deleted, erased, eliminated, terminated...
In fact, it is readable ONLY from the link existing in the post https://libcom.org/news/revolution-without-borders-demonstration-against... but NOT from any other sources: it is NOT on the list "HISTORY", NOT on the list "LIBRARY", and NOT on any TAG!!!

Ed replied to me as follows:

Hi GdC. Firstly, I want to apologise for taking so long to get back to you; as usual, issues of having too few admins, doing too much work, and having to fit it in around work, kids etc means we're often very slow to get back to people (which is pretty annoying for them).
Just to let you know, we are currently discussing whether to put the article back up and, if so, whether any aspects of it will need changing. In the meantime, I'd ask you not to put it up again and just try to be patient with us: we will get back to you and explain our position (whatever that ends up being) asap.
Apologies again for all the waiting.

Of course I understand the problems of lack of time, lack of people etc.
But what I definitely don't understand is the "problem" that this text could provide for Libcom.
You know me: it's a long time I intervene here.
You know Class War group as well.
So what?
This text is just a kind of summary of Jean Barrot (Gilles Dauvé) book about the issue (1979)
Please tell me what happens "wrong" because this clarifying text seems to be important for several groups, individuals who asked us for delivering a stance about polarization faf/antifa.
TODAY the text is still not available!!!
Thanx for your reply.

Yours,
GdC

Sorry about that, you know have posting permissions. If you would like to regain access to your original account, let us know and we can manually reset your password (the automatic reset stuff isn't working at the moment but we hope to fix that with our upgrade).

Hi, I would like to post two previously-unavailable communiques written by CLODO after their attacks on computer sites in Toulouse in early 1980s. I think they are important historical texts that are worthy of publishing because the only text currently available by them is a translation of the 'CLODO parle' interview. Can you help set me up so I can publish these two translated communiques?

Thanks
