An Evening in Memory of Rachel Corrie - Friday 18th March

ISM London in association with AMP (Art, Music, Politics) presents:

An Evening in Memory of Rachel Corrie - Friday 18th March

Two years on from the death of Rachel Corrie, ISM London pays tribute to the memory of an exceptional activist with an evening of music, image and spoken word at a relaxed North London live music venue. Join us in our celebration of her inspirational life and vision. Everyone welcome.

Time: 8pm til 1am

Venue: Nambucca, 596 Holloway Road, London, N7

Nr Tube: Archway, Holloway Road

Bus: 271 / 43 / 17

Edit:

Some corrections:

1. Any donations on the night will go the Rebuilding Alliance (see this link: http://www.rebuildingalliance.org/start.php ) NOT to ISM London.

2. Entry is NOT free because Nambucca has a door charge of £1 per person. However: no one turned away for genuine lack of funds.

An addition:

Music:

* Northern Irish rock band "The Debonaires"

* Palestinian guitarist "Darwish"

* Experimental jazz ensemble featuring vocalist Kerry Fleur, singing an interpretation of Rachel's diary writings

* DJs playing Arabic and contemporary music
