Hi,
I am going to be in London beginning with the 14th of Septembre until the end of April. I am from Berlin and living in a legal squat there. The house was bought in cooperation with Mietshäusersyndikat (http://www.syndikat.org/index.html?/s_home_uk.html) to make sure that it is not anybodies personal private property and will be kept out of the private market even if all the people living in there have moved out. I'd love to stay in a squat during my time in London too, is there anybody who has a place available. I'd be glad to answer you some more questions about myself when you contact me
cheers
Hi,
Me and a group (6) people from Manchester are down to work at an art fair in London that we've been doing for years. I can't find any affordable accomodation for us all so I was wondering if any of the squats in the area would take us in for 4 nights or anyone has space elsewhere. Most of us have lived in squats before, and I understand that this isn't the ideal but were happy to contribute financially or in another way for our short stay. We just need a room where we can sleep basically with enough floor 7 bodies. The fairs at 1 marylebone so we need somewhere in the marylebone/euston/st pancreas area.
Cheers
need a place ASAP in north London practical skills painting and other forms as well decent cook sociable looking to team up with kindred sprints

Hi there
Just like everyone else who has posted a comment on here I to am searching for a roof over my head, this is all new to me and I have never done this before well that doesn't matter. All that does at this point is if anyone out there has anything available for me to join you would literally be my angel in these times of darkness. I'm willing and able to chip in and help wherever I can to make up for the space you can offer. At this point I'm more then desperate I got no family, no job, no money, no nothing. So if anyone can pleaseeeeeee help me find a squat.
Thank you
Hello,
I'm looking for people to squat with. I might soon have no place to live, and the housing crisis in the UK is something that really concerns me and makes me angry!
Does anyone know of meet ups in London where I can find likeminded people or are anyone in here keen to meet up, and find out something. Make a community.
Thanks,
Jonas.
Hello,
I'm interested. Did you manage to find some people or join a squat?
Hello,

Hello
I'm moving to London soon to study and because of the high cost of tuition fees etc, I'm hoping to find a squat to live in with others. Would be grateful if anyone was in a similar position and fancied getting in touch. I'm 27, an artist, female, ideally looking to live in South London.
Thanks!

Hello! I would like to know about some places that we can squat in East London or someone that would like to join me to look for some places that we could squat. Thanks
Hi, guys!
My name is Edita, 23 years old and I am looking for a squat
I just came to London after a month of auto-stopping in Europe and I cannot imagine myself coming back to everyday's life routine. I would love to be involved in voluntary organisations, workshops and spend more time for activities that are more fun than work... During my travels I have been staying in Amsterdam's and Berlin's squats. The atmosphere was just amazing and I am little bit missing it here. Also would love to meet new people and improve my English
If someone is living in a squat and looking for a roommate, or if someone is living somewhere where rent is not high, please, let me know
Or if someone knows useful information about cheep and alternative ways of living in London, as well, let me know
Thank you!
Edita
Marcin: I texted U to mail box here, but I'm not sure how does it work here with messeges...
Anyway answer was same like for Edita and Lully, lets meet and talk about it:)
Hello, my name is Milos, I am 31 from Slovakia originally. I am also looking for a squat or people who squat in London (preferably South London). I have been thinking about this for quite some time and I need to save money as well. I am leaving to North America in January so saving a few months rent would be useful.
Regards, M.

I'll be in London this summer (May-) and looking for people to squat with. Spent some time in London in January staying in hostels, it was nice but still an expense. Would love to be able to save some money and have a great time living with nice people. If someone is also looking for fellow squatters please let me know. Thank you!

Heya guys...
This is incredible...i thought that looking to squat would be an ill advised thing to do as i had no clue what it really means. i've been reading a lot about it and i think it may be also a solution for my situation . I've been in london 2 years ago , had a job and a place to stay. unfortunately i was forced to move back home in romania. only now when i want to move in UK for good , the circumstances are way more different and i plan to make this move by "the book".
I contacted my last employer and he offered me my job back from day 1 ,once i arrive. i am able to manage the flight ticket there but i will not be able to rent out a room in the first month.
I see that so many are looking to squat and i hope each and every one of you guys managed to find a squat or a solution and that all of you are well.
I want to ask what is the best thing to do so i don't end up roaming on the streets of London at each end of the day until i get back to work.....Is going to whitechapel best solution ? and if yes, would it take long for my to find a place?
Thanks for this guys .....

Hi Luke
I might be able to help. There is a place in Swiss Cottage (north of the West End) in close proximity of the tube station. Vacant for several months easy access to premises. Let me know if this suits.
Best
C.J. (Courtney)
Empty till the weekend? What's the story then? Owner occupier? Buy to let and a tenant is about to move in having paid their fees etc and given notice on their previous place?
Sounds like a non starter to me.
