Bulkington Travellers Evicted

unfortunately it seems the sneaky bastards at the council caught them unawares and evicted them when there were only a few families there, shame we couldn't have done more to help.

wouldn't help much, they don't mention brum in gloucestershire, they think the cotswold's is too posh to know of it's existence...

but i don't anyway, i'm too busy watching ninja films.

that's particularly shitty and nasty considering that they even own the land in "proper" capitalist terms. possibly the first time that someone who legally owns their land has been evicted off it?

it would be nice, in a way, if all the cuntryside alliance/right-wing "libertarian" landowners/tony martin-style farmer times kicked off about this... but considering it was "only" travellers, they probably won't... sad

however this is a pretty fucking clear illustration that the whole system of land ownership etc is not the "fair" system it appears to be in the eyes of right-lib types, but quite blatantly is there for those who rule, and not the groups they choose not to favour... could be a revelation to some...

i also predict that, given the welsh roundhouse ordered demolition and now this, that "planning permission" laws are going to be one of the next big things used to fuck over people trying to live alternative/sustainable lifestyles... time for an expose of the hypocrisy in those laws i think...
