Fired worker shoots boss at empire state building

"A fired worker stalked his boss down a Midtown street, shot him dead and then turned his weapon on police officers — and in the ensuing gun battle he was killed and nine pedestrians were struck, some by cop bullets, Mayor Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said today."

If the truth ever comes out, it will show that NONE of the bystanders were wounded by the gunman. All were struck by police bullets, including any cops so injured.

I've actually been through this before, caught in a crossfire "between" cops and a suspect in NYC, and the cops had, and have, absolutely no weapons discipline. Lucky enough to avoid getting hit, but it was just luck.

They can't aim, they can't withhold fire until they have a unobstructed target, they can't wait.

NO evidence gunman ever fired at cops:

Do the police do this shit on purpose or are they just completely feckless?

Both. Same-same. Purposefully feckless. Sort of like the conjuncture of incompetence and deliberate destruction. Think New Orleans and Katrina.

No doubt. Thanks to Bloomberg, the mayor from the billionaire boys club, and a scumbag of the first order. "New York City is a luxury brand." Everything else? Target practice.

It's NY post-9/11 and the USA post mass shooting spree (post 2 recent ones). You can't do shit like this around an iconic, crowded place and not expect police to unload like its Fallujah in the mid 2000s. I mean, fuck the cops, but this is the world we live in now.

So exactly how did the two cops manage to hit nine other people? There's one man with a gun (who apparently stopped firing after he shot his boss) versus two cops with guns - if they were all firing at each other I could kind of get the idea of crossfire with bullets going everywhere, but this just seems crazy. Juan has a point, anything like this is going to cause a fucking hailstorm of bullets in the US, but nine fucking people is just incredible... I mean cops deliberately trying to hurt people is nothing new, but they're usually a little more selective at least...

Oh yes you can, precisely because it is an "iconic" "crowded" place. Precisely because of that, you don't unload 16 [official] rounds. WTF? Like 9/11 has the slightest fucking thing to do with this? Like the cops couldn't tell that only 1 person had been shot and that the gunman was menacing nobody else?

Like Fallujah shouldn't have been unloaded on like it was "Fallujah" in the first fucking place?

Do us a favor please, and let's not obscure the fact that police and military regard everything, everyone, every place as a free-fire zone.
