I didn't know until about 2 weeks ago and I went to the intended site today to check it out and when you walk down the stairs there's a tiny leaflet ad for it!

i just got back from there now.

have to say i was very impressed with the cafe - fuckiung excellent food and proper coffee - 100% vegan too. Saw lots of people I haven't seen for ages and lots of new faces too.

the bookshop isnt very well stocked but i picked up a couple of interesting things and there is a library as well. i guess they will start stocking the bookshop shelves a bit more once thery realise that they are actually gonna sell stuff grin

yes, very impressed indeed. There's a lot of potential (and risks!) with the centre. Will definitely be involved in some way or another with my modest contribution.

And it was good to meet Spike after making a mistake assuming Spike was someone else embarrassed

I can vouch for spike's female-ness. Although, I'd probably deny it in a court of law, such is my love of the practical humour that I'm willing to "pervert the course of justice". 8)
