The mainstream unions are a joke. How long had fellow workers been aware of this exploitation and not said anything? And what of the union involved... same old story... reactive not proactive, unless you call "rock the vote" proactive (he he).

Hey Jason, I read in the mighty QT the other day that these workers are still being hassled by their employer. Apparently the company has been seen entering their accomodation and removing furniture etc while they are at work. Also, have you heard about a group called 'bosswatch'? Apparently an off shoot from a group called 'worklife' who are looking at more direct action type responses in the form of pickets etc of bastard employers. Should keep them busy! Do you know anything about them?

The pricks. No, I haven't heard about thos groups. Sounds interesting though. Please pass on what you find.

Wont be able to talk for a couple of weeks. Currently in Papua. Internet is slooooooow....... and heading up country for a while. Talk to you in late december.
