Yugoslavia

I am busy gathering information for a project on Yugoslavia and the now, former Yugoslav republics (in particular Kosovo). Am interested in up-to-date, as well as historical, analysis and info from a class-struggle and libertarian communist perspective. I have already checked out http://libcom.org/tags/yugoslavia and found it fairly useful. Can anyone point me in the direction of further information.

Cheers

This is a tad off topic, but what do you, either of you, know about Albin Kurti and VETËVENDOSJE!?

Due to the fact that Kurti is in house confinement it's not really smart to talk about that guy too much on public boards. You can find info on the case here: http://www.freealbinkurti.org/

Vetevendosje is an nationalist anti-imperialist movement in Kosovo, with some ex-MLs in leadership. Info here: http://www.vetevendosje.org/sh/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=702&Itemid=273

What's the question?

I don't think Rata was saying he agreed with them, he was just describing them.

Or were you questioning the redundancy of the terms? Maybe he meant that they do not even claim to be internationalist...

The following article gives a general historical analysis of the wider context of the collapse of the ex-Yugoslavia

As an alternative to the nationalist anti-imperialist position here is a internationalist position on the war in Kosova

Of course. I already provided link, several messages up, to the alternative to the nationalist anti-imperialist position, from Serbian anarcho-syndicalists.
