the paris commune

so ive been reading the no gods no masters anthology and particularly interesting were the parts relating to the paris commune, the extracts from bakunin and marx. and now reading 'the civil war in france' from marx......but having never even had it mentioned in history lessons, i could really do with a good overview of events etc. does anyone have a suggestion for a comprehensive, preferably anarchist, discussion of the paris commune?

I'm pretty sure it's in George Woodcock's History of Anarchism (which I read about 9 years ago and enjoyed muchly), and it's also covered in Volume II of Murray Bookchin's The Third Revolution (which I haven't read, but I'd imagine is quite comprehensive, it's a big book).

Quick google search reveals this site: http://www.library.northwestern.edu/spec/siege/ which has a lot of primary sources available on-line (1200 photos for a start)

And there's the Paris Commune Archive, which has an article by Kropotkin from 1895 on the commune and quite a lot more - I always end up linking to this site, but had missed the Paris Commune part of it:
