Kettling N30 The Euston Deceit. How police used kettling in conjunction with arson to discredit legitimate protest

The Recent European Court Ruling on the use of Kettling: a personal account of what happened nov 30th 1999 at Euston station. It is interesting to note that the court ruled that "It must be underlined that measures of crowd control should not be used by the national authorities directly or indirectly to stifle or discourage protest" yet when this method was first employed in the UK (Euston station Nov30th 1999), it was so against a small and peaceful protest but more seriously in conjunction with a far more sinister and illegal tactic: chiefly the deliberate destruction of public property and threat to human life for the sole purpose of discrediting legitimate protest. On that day the police planted an isolated vehicle (blue transit van) on the concourse of Euston station which they then set on fire later that night.
