Rare meeting about Bordiga

I see that David Broder (ex?) of 'The Commune' is speaking about 'Bordiga and the Bordigists at an open CPGB meeting in London ( Sun 8th Dec 5pm Calthorpe Arms, 282 Grays Inn Road, WC1). I only know of a one member Bordigist type group in this country but there are other left and council communist influenced groups and individuals around who might want to check this out and perhaps provide a different and even a more positive angle on Bordiga's contribution to a genuine communist politics than either Broder or the CPGB??

There is a reference to the Internationalist Communist Party of Damen and Stefanini as distinct from the Bordigist International Communist Party at the tail end of this introductory talk by Broder but little content of the more interesting debates of that period some of which others can find in recent English language material on the CWO/ICT website. Broders talk itself comes across as a rather half-hearted history student's defence of Bordiga as against Gramsci etc in the earlier period whilst being critical of Bordiga's opposition to anti-fascist unity. The recording doesn't include any discussion and you have to wonder what cpgb members made of it.

The text of the talk is also on the Weekly Worker site :
Bordiga and the fate of Bordigism - Communist Party of Great Britain
(There was some eyebrow raising in leftist circles that for a while it was on their front page instead of the latest episode of the SWP soap opera).
