Cinema: Uncovered - The war on Iraq, a film by award-winning filmmaker and

documentarian Robert Greenwald (Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's war on

journalism, The Burning Bed, Steal This Movie).

Saturday 19.3.05:

10.30 Start assembling for the peace march through town ending at the Castle

with speakers from Peace Tax 7

11.00 prompt - Start of march

12.30 - Peace Tax 7 speakers at the Castle

13.00 - Lunch and signing of "Give Peace a Hand"

14.00 - Old College:

Panel of speakers on legality of war, legal issues in

connection with war and human rights:

Chaired by Jill Evans (CND Cymru Chair) with panellists:

Phil Shiner (Humanitarian Lawyer of 2004) - confirmed

Clive Stafford-Smith (known for fighting the death penalty in the US and,

lately, as lawyer for 2

of the Guantanamo Britons) - has said yes provided nothing critical crops up

Michael Mansfield (known from the Guildford Four, the Birmingham Six, the

Stephen Lawrence inquest among others) - has said yes provided nothing

critical crops up

Ken Booth (Head of Department for International Politics at Aberystwyth

University) - confirmed

Joan Meredith (Trident Ploughshares) - confirmed

Milan Rai (author and activist, co-founder of Voices in the Wilderness UK) -

still to confirm

Mrs Ahmed (whose husband was arrested and assaulted, released and

re-arrested on US request,

now facing extradition under the new law allowing the UK to extradite any

individual to the US without the US providing any prima facie evidence) -

confirmed

15.30 - Workshops with members of the panel on different aspects of war,

justice and responsibility

17.00 - Re-assemble for report back on activities and resolutions

There is a little float in time, having allowed 1.5 hours for the speakers

and it is probably not the end of the world if we end up staying till 18.00.
