Subtitled "mergers can be harmful to your health", this Solidarity motor bulletin was aimed at Chrysler workers in the UK and Europe on the eve of their takeover by Peugeot/Citroen. It describes the situation for workers in Peugeot plants in France, how they squeeze high productivity out of their workers and how they combat workers' struggles.

Just to say this is a brilliant pamphlet. In particular, it is a fascinating look at the lengths Peugeot management went to control the workers, especially in the wake of 1968. Including hiring a private army of over 100 ex-servicemen to infiltrate their workforce and spy on and disrupt the activities of militants.

Amusingly, it seems it backfired pretty spectacularly, as they went on crime sprees wherever they worked, and even sabotaged production themselves to make themselves seem needed to combat saboteurs!
