Here and Now magazine was formed by members and former members of the Clydeside Anarchists, and by issue 5 was joined by more members from Yorkshire.

Partly digitised by libcom.org, 2015. With thanks to Spikymike for donating the publications. Partly also taken from Spirit of Revolt.

Good to see Here and Now on libcom. The Spirit of the Revolt collective, an excellent libertarian socialist archiving project in Glasgow, have I think digitized a full run of the magazine.

I'll let them know, and I'm sure they'll be happy for them to be available here too.

Here & Now originated in Glasgow as the successor journal to “Clydeside Anarchist”. The first issue appeared in spring 1985, after it was agreed to set up the new journal in December 1984. At the start, most of its members were involved with the Clydeside Anarchists group, as the introduction to the first issue states. By issue 5, a joint production schedule with a collective in West Yorkshire had commenced, many of the West Yorkshire group came from “The Pleasure Tendency”.

Hi as a member of Spirit of revolt I would like to say thanks for the comment. We have a full range of Here & Now but not all have been digitalised, we would like to use Libcom links to help complete our digital run. Libcom is at liberty to use what we have up on the site. Co-operation helps complete the picture and saves time and effort.

Hi, that's great! I've now digitised everything we were given.

So hopefully between us that is everything. If anyone could help by copying the missing entries from spirit of revolt onto libcom it would be much appreciated (although please compress the PDF issues of the magazine's first using compresspdf.com or something similar as they are currently too big)

that would be great! Also if there were any after issue 18 we don't have those. And issue 10 had an art/antiart supplement which is also missing

OK will do. I am almost certain that 18 was the last one.

I have had a rummage.

I don't have issue 7/8 which was apparently a double issue in 1989 (according to the back page of issue 10). :(

But yes I do have issue 10 and will try to scan in the anti-art supplement when the office is a bit more empty.

That’s already snuggled up to issue 10 as a separate PDF my man.
