Iain McKay takes us back to Spain in the 1930s where anarchists occupied the factories and the land, to make a revolution at the same time as fighting Franco's fascists. And within that revolution, the women of Mujeres Libre fought also for the liberation of women.

Iain McKay is the author of An Anarchist FAQ and editor of Property is Theft! A Pierre-Joseph Proudhon Anthology and Direct Struggle Against Capital: A Peter Kropotkin Anthology. His latest project is editor of Peter Kropotkin's final work, Modern Science and Anarchy.

will there be a transcript/ write up of the talk ?

At some stage, not sure when... until then, section I.8 of An Anarchist FAQ covers a lot of what was said -- although I had to summarise anarchism and debunk the myth we think anarchy can be created overnight...
