Spam
Too many to list. WTF?
Too many to list. WTF?
i've deleted 3 pages of spam this morning, it's gone nuts. i've temporarily changed the posting permissions which should slow things down.
when the revolution comes, spammers will be the first up against the wall
the fact that it is profitable to someone, somewhere, to employ human beings to spam online haircuts (ffs!), suggests that capital has moved not just from formal to real subsumption, but out the other side to WTF taking the piss subsumption. like, there's a section of the proletariat on piece rates spamming to pay the bills. fucking batshit.
Same problem again. It seems since the new theme got introduced, we've been flooded with spam.
edit: dp
Is there any reason I'm unable to delete any of those spam posts?
What's with the large amount of spam posts lately?
Can people actually see all the spam? It's unpublished so shouldn't be visible except to admins/mods etc. I've changed the permissions again, we can change the settings on the anti-spam stuff too.
Yeah, what happened yesterday? I think I banned about 40 accounts and deleted a lot of spam, but I couldn't keep up with how much was posted and how many spammers there were, and gave up...
We're looking into why the sudden influx. For the time being we've changed the anti-spam settings which should just auto-delete anything full of commercial links.
done

Hmm, nice scarves.
Is it possible to set new accounts so that you can't post links until you've made like 25 posts or something? That would severely reduce the attractiveness of the site to people posting commercial links.
Done.
