I'd be curious about that too

if you scroll down to the bit under the box that shows you your answer it shows you where your answers differ from the different options. I just didn't compare my answers (anarchist) with left SR but now wish I had

I got Left SR but to be more accurately I was halfway between Anarchist and Left SR.
I suspect as my political knowledge grows ( I am a Novice to Socialism) this could change if I took the quiz again a year later.

Interesting. How did the Trotskyists you know respond to being classed as Left SR or Anarchist?

I got Menshevik Internationalist. I would have traded peace with the German barbarians and chosen not to collectivize the peasants.

It suffers from inconsistent use of the term "state" - so for example the "correct" anarchist answer for the question on ideal form of government is a federation of states (so using state to mean governance), but then elsewhere uses state in the sense anarchists would use and oppose - eg, question about restricting freedom of speech.

It's also has anarchists as strongly disagreeing with "the death penalty is a vital means of punishment during current wartime conditions", which I suspect would be news to Makhno.

yeah, good spot. Statism is often a problem with these sorts of questionnaires. It is in the political compass, for example, where you can't really give an anarchist answer to some questions.

I also noticed it said that anarchists "agreed" with nationalisation of industries, whereas the principled anarchist approach is to be neutral on state/private ownership, and instead just support workers' control.

I got anarchist when I took this a few weeks ago, slightly to the left of it actually.
