Supporters urged to attend Visteon occupation rally, Thursday 9 April

Following the High Court decision of 6 April, workers occupying the Enfield Visteon plant are meant to leave by 12 noon. A rally for their supporters has been called for 11 a.m.

One supporter stated:

At was agreed with reps of the occupiers on Monday night at the Trades Council meeting, to call a Rally at the plant on Thursday at 11am.

The occupiers have, technically, till midday to leave and will be meeting to decide what to do then, following feedback from the meeting with Visteon in NYC.

They will need all the support they can get. Bring Union banners noise and support!

The plant is located at Morson Road EN3 4NQ, near Ponders End train station, Enfield

The plant is 5min walk, cross the foot-bridge, walk down main road towards Central London, the next street to the left is Morson Road, the factory situated at the end.

Thursday is the 9th of April.

Tomorrow (Wednesday 8th of April) there is a rally from 12 to 1 at the Visteon site in Belfast, off the Finaghy Road North.
