In an interview with the weekly magazine Paris-Match thats due to appear in shops from Thursday, Domenique de Villepin recognizes that he "wanted to move quickly" on the contract first engages (CPE). "Now, it is necessary that I explain and convince. I will do it until the end because I believe in this policy", declares it.

Lorenzo Kom'boa Ervin's story could have come out of the pages of fiction. The fact that we were privileged to hear him speak and interview him is easily the best thing to come out of the "Ten Days" debacle. Even Ian Bone admitted that at least it was worth it to "get Lorenzo over here".
Interview with German public sector strikers
Public sector workers striking across Germany talk about their experiences and the strike.
wsws.org reported that on February 6, German public service employees began strike action affecting such services as sanitation, hospitals, kindergartens, libraries and recreational facilities. The walkout began after the public service union Verdi conducted a ballot of sections of its membership, resulting in large majorities for a strike.
