Online archive of publications by this early 1980s revolutionary anarchist / libertarian communist newsletter from Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stoke on Trent.
Careless Talk was preceded by the "Libertarians Living in The Potteries*" group. Some examples of their work are included, as are a number of Careless Talk leaflets.
Careless Talk contributed to the Ultra-Left Review Intercom and was heavily involved in the North West Anarchist Federation.
Some members of Careless Talk went on to join the Manchester based Wildcat group, whilst another offshoot was Stafford Anarchists.
A key member of the group was Bob Miller (1953-2011).

*"The Potteries" refers to the industrial area of Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire, England. This region became the heart of British ceramics production in the early 18th century, largely due to the local availability of clay, coal, and lead.
