Barmen, May 14, 1920

The meeting scheduled for May 13 at 9:30 a.m. at the company Blankert & Co. in Elberfeld, Schwanenstr. (Bolshevik headquarters), could not be held because the expected out-of-town participants failed to appear. The meeting was rescheduled for May 16 at 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, May 11, the KPD had convened a gathering at the Volkshaus, where the communist Hammer was to speak about the upcoming elections. Oddly, attendance was extremely sparse. Only a small number of KAPD members showed up. The speaker was repeatedly interrupted by these members with heckling. Eunschka strongly opposed Hammer for personal reasons, while Löffler (Elberfeld) argued in favor of the view that all KPD leaders, likely not radical enough, must be eliminated through hand grenades.

The KPD, or rather the KAPD, plans to form demolition columns for the upcoming elections, with the mission to create unrest at the election meetings of the SPD and right-wing parties. These same demolition columns are also to be deployed or are in the process of being organized in other locations (Gelsenkirchen and Essen).

The KPD holds the view that the KAPD will immediately incite unrest following the Reichstag elections.

Leaders are trusted representatives of the KAPD from Barmen, who are being deployed to Gelsenkirchen, Wanne, and Dortmund to advocate for this party program.
