Rolling Stone obituary.

Listening to Leonad got me through many a dark night.

Rest in peace, comrade.

Can we please be done with 2016 now? Not to be too dramatic about it all, but I've been finding strength from his cover of "The Partisan" this week.

I always thought this was a good critique of reformism. Probably we'll take Berlin before we take Manhattan, but his version rhymes better

They sentenced me to twenty years of boredom
For trying to change the system from within
I'm coming now, I'm coming to reward them
First we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin

I know it is not nice to disrespect the dead but his albums no matter how good lyrically, were always the ones played at the end of parties to get those guests who had over-stayed their welcome to go and the dirge of his voice and music usually did the trick...

Obviously, it must be a sore point if you would so regularly over-stay your welcome...
