Mixed-martial arts fighter and anarchist Jeff Monson is facing a grueling few months as he prepares to take on some big fights before 2011 is done.
Monson is competing in probably the world's biggest submission wrestling tournament, the ADCC (Abu Dhabi Combat Club) championships later this month in Nottingham, England.
A few weeks later, the former UFC fighter returns to England to fight in Sprawl n Brawl on October 9th in Birmingham.
A week later, he faces Gabriel Gonzaga, another ex-UFC fighter, at the W-1 event on October 15th in Miami.
On November 12th, Monson has confirmed he will be fighting Fedor Emelianenko in Moscow under the M1 banner. The formerly 'unbeatable' Fedor is coming off three straight losses but will still be a huge test for Monson, who lost his last fight in Strikefore to Daniel Cormier, who's fighting tonight in the Strikeforce heavyweight grandprix that Fedor was eliminated from earlier this year!
Impressive schedule, good luck Jeff!

Monson arrived late because of his flight and almost had to forfeit his ADCC fight but they let him do it late. He apparently has his arm heavily strapped because of injury.
Won his 1st round match against Mateusz Juskowiak on referee decision, but was eliminated via armlock submission (on his injured arm) by Fabricio Werdum in his 2nd round fight.
