A note in Bengali on the continuous deception with the indigenous people in modern India

Ever since the collapse of the Mughal Empire in India, the modern era began in this part of the world with the gradual introduction of English colonial rule since 1757. With the exit of these colonial rulers the old hegemonic castes returned to power. Some of the subordinate castes are sporadically contesting this power here and there. The indigenous people, however, continue to be deceived by all the social groups that lord over them. This is a note on the structure and dynamics of that deception. It was written on the occasion of the first conference of the Shabar people at Amlasole, West Bengal, 2007.
