I get bored watching liberal outlets like The Majority Report with Sam Seder or The David Pakman Show. The Young Turks is the worst of them all; I almost never search for their videos. Almost all liberal news or commentary is obsessed with covering Republicans or Democrats. Is there any leftist, preferably libertarian, alternative? While I prefer video, print media is acceptable as well. But I don’t like stuff like Jacobin magazine.

You can try reading journals (e.g. ICT's Revolutionary Perspectives or the SPGB's Socialist Standard) if you want communist analysis of current events, but I don't think there are really that many communist news sources out there. The People's World and stuff like Monthly Review also spring to mind. I wouldn't uncritically or fully endorse any of the aforementioned publications, but that doesn't mean that they're without any merit or that there is nothing to be gleaned from them.
As far as just staying in the know about what's happening in the world, really any (non-overtly right-wing) news source will do, though obviously news sources are quite different in terms of what they like to cover and what their political biases are. I think something like Democracy Now is quite sufficient in that department, but you always have to be critical regardless of what you're reading or viewing.

ZNet actually has an entire Discord (in addition to daily articles on their website dealing with current events), so if you wanna go chat with Albert, he's over there...
Libcom should start a Discord.
