Was wondering if there’s any sympathetic texts with the mindframe that communism missed it’s chance to start and now the window is shut. I have Marcuse’s One Dimensional Man to read, but anything along those lines would be good.
I'd say it might be worth looking at Endnotes Journal? There is a lot of discussion of periodisation in the earlier issues which could be close to what you are looking for.
