The Internet Archive's apparently been hacked (not sure why hackers would target people who try to make knowledge/information more accessible to others—but OK!). I'd probably change your passwords to your other accounts if they're the same as what you used on the Internet Archive, seeing as how they now have access to that.

Apparently it was this group ("SN_BlackMeta") who did it because they thought that the nonprofit—whose entire mission is the preservation and dissemination of information/knowledge—was some sort of Zionist organization associated with the American government...

In response to someone asking why they would do that, the group wrote:

SN_BlackMeta wrote: They are under attack because the archive belongs to the USA, and as we all know, this horrendous and hypocritical government supports the genocide that is being carried out by the terrorist state of “Israel”.

So—seeing as how nobody can be that stupid, I'm assuming that it was actually some Zionist pricks who are behind it, because that would certainly fit their MO; they're no strangers to doing these sort of (completely obvious) false-flag operations. That's just speculation though, and I'm definitely going to look more into it.
