It has been estimated that yesterday by police that about 70,000 to 100,000 women showed up for the Women's strike. The demands' are against gender wage gap and gender violence but it's not a strike according to Iceland's labour law and unions will not pay women from the strike funds and that their have been news that employers will pay women who attended the strike.
