The Anarchist Kino is a new initiative of Insurgent Projections and The Anarchist Film Festival. Like most of KINO initiatives around the world, the idea is to create short films of a total duration of 3 minutes. The only difference with this project, is that we value non-oppresive principales.
Everyone can do it, and in case there are people who need technical assistance or other support, the collective of Insurgent Projections offers their support. The only rule is to remain anti-oppressive. Films that have racist, colonialist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, fascist, sexist, and / or capacitistic content will be disqualified.

The finished films will be presented at the Anarchist Book Fair on May 27 2017.
A little more about the collective, Projections Insurgées was created at so-called "Montreal" in spring 2014 by Médi@s Libres, SubMedia.tv and Ni Québec, ni Canada. Recognizing the vital importance of independent radical media, the collective regularly organizes projections and discussions where subversive ideas can flourish! Our events are rooted in anti-capitalist, anti-colonialist, anti-patriarchal and non-authoritarian principles.
