We look at the role of the police and revolutionary alternatives to them in the context of police behaviour in Britain ( infiltration of political groups and social movements with accompanying sexual abuse)the USA (police murders and the response of Black Lives Matter) France and elsewhere. We argue for alternatives to the police in the context of a developing grass roots movement.
