And the bail out deal is in trouble anyway due to some critical differences between the IMF and the EU/ECB. Both want continuing austerity for the workers but the IMF correctly demands some hefty 'write down' of debt by the EU/ECB as the only way the other measures have any chance of underpinning even a small recovery in the profitability of the Greek economy, although the growing global economic crisis may make even that a forlorn hope. Periodic token strikes of the sort seen so far (even if apparently militant by UK standards) will not resolve this in favour of the Greek working class.
