Pelosi requires the Justice Democrats (The Squad) support to become Leader of the House...an opportunity to force a floor vote on M4A to actually see which politician believes in it rather than use it as electoral camouflage.
AOC says it is the wrong time. Others agree with her that Pelosi must be voted in as Leader regardless of disagreement with Pelosi policies.
Hmmm...and we were told that the progressives would manage to push the Democratic Party if they only voted for the lesser evil. Now, they are not even going to try.
Real Politik means support for Pelosi. M4A becomes a secondary issue for those who built their political careers on the demand for M4A.
