Happy birthday indeed! 34 years of many ups and downs. "Seems like yesterday". Very hopeful and all. Long march to freedom never ends.
A lot of time, effort, joy,
A lot of time, effort, joy, disappointment, friendships gained and lost. Having mainly been in thick and thin of helping keep it together since the start (not so much now), many are clueless as to what it takes to keep even a small organization going. The effort at keeping the various personalities on an even keel, the effort to maintain comradely discussion, the effort to check ones own attitude during adversity or when the stuff hits the fan. Nothing is auto drive. Struggle on in the hope that the effort will ultimately bear results. Mostly glad to have been part of the history's since 1984. Not many, if any, US libertarian worker organizations can claim such a long run.
