There have been a rash of nationwide protests (some calling for strikes) across the UK by NHS Nurses outside of the traditional trade unions, who mostly supported the previous poor 3 year pay deal, protesting about their exclusion from the recent government announced public sector pay deals in education etc mostly locally organised although with encouragement from an organisation called 'Nurses United' (which seems to be a cross between a rank and file Nurses network and an NGO?). In Manchester several were held outside of local hospitals and some city centre ones given local lockdown regulations rather static, but elsewhere were protest marches. Not seen many reports of this in the anarchist or libertarian communist news networks but this from the ICC was quite useful including references to some other international health sectors protests and strikes here:
